An Adventure for Animal Protection

Yesterday, we welcomed a special visitor at our school: Adventurer Mitchell Hutchcraft stopped by at our school in order to talk to our students about animal protection . Mitchell has set an ambitious goal for himself. He's planning to travel from London to Mount Everest in an unbelievable triathlon - 10,500 km of swimming, cycling and climbing, followed by a 1,500km ascent to the peak of the highest mountain on earth.

Together with Dr. Suleiman who's a veterinarian from Kurdistan, Mitchell wowed our students with stories of his journey and the animals he had met thus far. He also talked about perseverance and following your own goals - an important topic for our children. Besides gaining new knowledge, the children had a lot of fun with this encounter.

May Mitchell continue to have the strength and love of adventure for the upcoming challenges on his exceptional journey.
